U-Haul Vs. Doctor’s Office Crash..Hwy. 70 West – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Presley investigated a strange crash last week where the driver of a large U-Haul truck attempted to drive under a carport that is shorter than the truck.

Evidence at the scene showed that the front top of the truck made contact with the wood/shingle carport roof of a doctor’s office causing significant damage to both the truck and the structure.

After impact, the U-Haul truck backed out and parked on the side of the building.

No injuries were reported.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly and assisted with clearing debris from the scene.
