Saturday Night, around 11pm, Hot Springs Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Beard Street for a trespassing complaint.
Officers met with the complainant who informed them that Helen Johnson was allegedly on his property and banging on his door repeatedly. This was the second call to this residence within an hour.
The officers made contact with Ms. Johnson who was in her car in front of the residence. She was placed in custody for trespassing.
Upon conducting a search of the suspect’s vehicle, officers found what appeared to be a white rock like substance in plain view next to the vehicle’s gear shifter. Officers conducted a field narcotics test on the substance and it tested positive for cocaine.
Officers also conducted a search of the suspects purse and allegedly found a glass pipe commonly associated with the smoking of narcotics. They also located a loose metal brillo pad allegedly used to screen narcotics while smoking them.
Helen Johnson was arrested and charged with Possession Of A Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespassing.
