Evidence at the scene showed that the front of a silver sedan made contact with the rear of the sheriff’s marked, Dodge Ram pick-up truck.

Piney Fire Troops responded quickly and assisted as needed.

LifeNet dispatched 2 ambulances to the scene.  2 people (including Corporal Felix Hunter) were transported to the hospital by ambulance.  Cpl. Hunter is expected to be fine.  The condition of the sedan driver is not known by me.

Pete Hill’s Wrecker took charge of the sedan and removed it from the scene.  Holcomb’s Transport & Recovery handled the sheriff’s truck.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 30 minutes.
