All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court
Arkansas State Police Troopers were on patrol in the area of Thornton Ferry Road Monday Afternoon when they found a white Chevrolet Tahoe that they wanted to stop for some reason. The driver of the Tahoe allegedly refused to stop and fled from the trooper.
The Tahoe fled through neighborhoods in the Shore Acres Road area before attempting to go farther down Thornton Ferry Road. A trooper caught up to the suspect vehicle on Thornton Ferry Road just West of Beach Haven Road and conducted a PIT Maneuver on the fleeing Chevrolet product which forced it out of control and off the road.
Evidence at the scene showed that the suspect vehicle suddenly yawed across the entire road, exited the pavement, encountered a small embankment, overturned, struck a minor fence and came to final rest on it’s passenger side.
Troopers immediately swarmed the suspect and arrested him forthwith.
Piney Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly and departed just as fast for the call of a house fire on Ledgerock Road. Go to the scene CLICK HERE.
LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene. They transported the suspect to the hospital by ambulance, under guard. The extent of injury is unknown to me.
The suspect, Caleb Michael Brian, 37, of Grand Ridge Terrace in Garland County, was checked through the police computer. The check revealed that Mr. Brian was a wanted parole absconder.
At the hospital, Parolee Brian allegedly attempted to flee from troopers once again. Those K Troopers were all over him like Giuliani on the Columbo Family in the ’80s…arrested him again. Parolee Brian was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Parolee Brian is charged with Felony Fleeing, Felony Escape and Fleeing with bond set at $5,000 and a parole hold in place.
