Follow Up: Parolee Charged With Murder Following Death Of HS Man; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

May 28, 2021 Pleasant Valley Street Murder Arrest

On May 18, 2021, at approximately 10:40 a.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to 206 Pleasant Valley Street in reference to a report of a possibly deceased person. Officers were directed into the residence where they located Larry Wayne Natt, 70, of Hot Springs, deceased. The Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene to further investigate the death.

Parolee James Anthony Barron, 25, of Candleberry Circle in Garland County – Arrested for Murder while on parole.

On June 22, 2021, with the assistance of the Arkansas Community Corrections SRT Team, the Arkansas State Police and Russellville Police Department, James Anthony Barron, 25, was arrested for the murder of Larry Wayne Natt. Barron was charged with Murder in the First Degree and transported to the Garland County Detention Center with no bond.
