Convicted Sex Offender Failed To Report Change Of Address – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

On 6/19/2016, Hot Springs Police Officers responded to the 100 Block of Parkhill in reference to a possible theft.


Juna Absher allegedly failed to comply with sex offender requirements.

The suspect identified as Juna Absher, 21, of Perry Arkansas, was identified as being a possible suspect in the theft. Hot Springs Police Dispatchers informed officers that Ms. Absher had warrant(s) out for her arrest and that she was a convicted sex offender. Ms. Absher allegedly told the responding officers that her address was on Helen Street here in Hot Springs and that she had been living there for approximately two weeks.



As of 6/19/2016 Ms. Absher had allegedly not told her probation officer that she had moved. Ms. Absher was convicted Of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault involving a juvenile female in January of this year. It is against the law for convicted sex offenders to not report their current address.

Ms. Absher was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center.

Ms. Absher is charged with Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements-Refusal to Cooperate with Assesment Process.

Her bond is set at $2,500.00.
