Another Injury Crash At “Thornton Ferry Curve” – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Crow investigated a single vehicle injury crash on Thornton Ferry Road in the curve at Grand B Drive last week.

Evidence at the scene showed that the eastbound vehicle exited the right side of the pavement, possibly struck a tree, reentered the roadway, crossed the entire street, exited the left side of the pavement, crashed into the tree line and came to final rest inside the woods.

Piney Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly, took charge of traffic control and otherwise assisted as needed.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  1 person went into the ambulance for assistance.  It is not known to me whether anyone was transported by the ambulance to the hospital.

GCSO Deputies Crow and Morgan located a bag filled with an interesting looking white, powdery substance.  It kept their attention for about a minute….laundry soap.  They put the bag back where it came from.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
