Allegedly: Parolee Involved In Domestic Battery; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Detective Plummer reports that officers with his department responded to Sonnet Street March 22, 2021, around 2AM for the complaint of Domestic Battery.

Officers arrived and met with the victim who said that her ex-boyfriend, Louis Gene Kennedy, 36, of Bess Street in Hot Springs, had struck her in the face.

Parolee Louis Gene Kennedy, 36, of Bess Street in Hot Springs – Allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend and a 12 year old child.

The victim told officers that she was laying on the bed.  Parolee Kennedy was over her, holding her down and spitting in her face.  He was also poking her face with his hand.

Parolee Kennedy Also struck a 12 year old during this event.

Injury was noted on both victims in the police report.

Parolee Kennedy was parolled to this address in September 2020.

Arrest warrants were obtained for Parolee Kennedy and entered into the police computer.

On April 6, 2021 around 3PM, Parolee Kennedy went to the parole office for a meeting.  He was arrested on the outstanding warrants and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Parolee Kennedy is charged with Felony Domestic Battery and Domestic Battery with bond set at $1,000.  A parole hold has since been placed on him for Arkansas Community Corrections.
