Hot Springs Police Officer Woodall reports that officers responded to an apartment complex on Ouachita Avenue last weekend for the complaint of a burglary.
Officers arrived and made contact with the victim. She said that her ex-boyfriend, Jacob Hall Courson, 22, of Journey Road in Star City, was inside her apartment without permission. She said that they broke up about 2 weeks ago, she told him not to come near her after the break-up and the 2 never lived together.
She said that he does not have a key and that he must have come through the back window at the air conditioner unit mounted to the window frame.
Officers knocked on the door and made contact with Mr. Courson. He admitted to getting into the apartment by crawling through the window at the air conditioner unit.
Mr. Courson was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Burglary with bond set at $5,000.
