Alleged: Won’t Stop For Blue Lights..Tosses Dope Out The Window; Felony Arrest x2 – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer McAdoo reports that he was on patrol May 29, 2021, around 3PM, when he saw a black Lexus run the red light at the East Grand Avenue/Convention Boulevard Avenue Intersection.

Off. McAdoo turned on the blue lights and attempted to stop the Lexus, but it did not stop.  The Lexus continued up Spring Street to Lila Street where the driver, later identified as Desaray Marie Williams, 27, of Oak Street in Hot Springs, threw a silver bag out the window.  She then continued driving to the 800 block of East Grand Avenue, where she pulled over and stopped the car.

Bryce Leconan Lewis, 39, of Raymond Street in Hot Springs – Allegedly carries his dope pipe in an eyeglass case.

Contact was made with Ms. Williams and her passenger, Bryce Leconan Lewis, 39, of Raymond Street in Hot Springs.  Both occupants were removed from the car and detained.  Ms. Williams was asked why she didn’t stop.  Her answer: “I have a warrant”.  Her pertinents were checked through the police computer.  The check confirmed that she had an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure To Appear out of the Hot Springs Police Department.  She was arrested.

Mr. Lewis’s pertinents were checked through the police computer.  The check revealed that he too was wanted (for Failure To Pay) out of the Hot Springs Police Department.  Mr. Lewis was arrested.

Officers searched the Lexus and found a used meth pipe in an eyeglasses case.  Mr. Lewis said that the pipe belonged to him.

Officers went back to where they saw Ms. Williams toss the silver bag.  They found the bag.  It contained approximately 4.6 grams of meth, 10.6 grams of marijuana and 12 small empty baggies.

Both prisoners were transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Ms. Williams is charged with Felony Possession Of Meth, Possession Of Marijuana, Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing and the warrant was served.  Bond was set at $9,000

Mr. Lewis is charged with Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and his arrest warrant was served.  Bond was set at $2,500.
