Alleged: Woman Steals Plywood from Construction Site; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Larkin reports that he was dispatched to a construction site in the city June 11, 2021 for the complaint of stolen construction supplies.

Off. Larkin arrived and made contact with the victim.  She told Off. Larkin that A female driving a green pick-up truck came to the construction site and took a drainage pipe ($130), a water hose ($100) and 2 pieces of plywood ($30) from the property.

The victim was able to identify the the vehicle and the suspect involved.  The victim drove to the suspect’s home in Malvern, found the suspect vehicle and started snapping pics.  She brought the pics back to Off. Larkin.  The pics showed the stolen plywood still in the bed of the truck, as well as, the suspect. Off. Larkin compared the pic of the suspect to the surveillance video from the scene and the most recent booking photo of Rhonda Ann Dry, 49, of Tram Cutoff in Malvern.  He was able to confirm that the suspect on video is Ms. Dry.

Off. Larkin obtained a warrant for the arrest of Ms. Dry and entered it into the police computer.

On July 21, 2021, around 2AM, Off. Larkin was on patrol when he found Ms. Dry behind a closed business around 2AM.  Ms. Dry was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for warrant service and processing.  She is charged with Theft By Receiving with bond set at $1,000.  She caught other charges, including Felony Possession Of Meth, during the arrest.  CLICK HERE for those details.
