Alleged: Wanted Suspect Caught Behind Closed Business With Meth At 2AM; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Larkin reports that he was on patrol in the 1800 block of Albert Pike Road July 21, 2021, around 2AM, when he found a suspicious green 1997 Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck behind a closed business.

Off. Larkin went over to the truck and made contact with a man and a woman.  The mani is not mentioned again in the arrest report.

Off. Larkin checked the female’s pertinents through the police computer.  The check revealed that the female, Rhonda Ann Dry, 49, of Tram Cutoff Road in Malvern, was wanted by the Hot Springs Court on charges of Failure To Appear and Theft Of Property.  She was arrested.

During the vehicle inventory prior to towing the truck, Officers looked in her purse and found a glass meth pipe with scorch marks and a white residue and a baggie containing approximately 2 grams of meth.

Ms. Dry was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for warrant service and processing.  She is charged with Felony Possession Of Meth and Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with bond set at $5,000.  CLICK HERE for the theft arrest report behind the arrest warrant.
