Alleged: Wanted Probationer Takes a Dope Charge; Felony Arrest – GARLAND COUNTY

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Rossini reports that he was dispatched to the 100 block of Main Street October 8, 2021, around 3AM, to investigate a suspicious woman wearing a black hoodie and pacing around for several minutes.

Off. Rossini arrived in the area and made contact with Milika Catherine Evans, 32, of Greenwood Avenue in Hot Springs.  She fit the description of the suspect.

Probationer Milika Catherine Evans, 32, of Greenwood Avenue in Hot Springs – Allegedly wandering around the neighborhood at 3AM with a handful of dope and a probation violation arrest warrant while on probation.

Off. Rossini checked Ms. Evans pertinent through the police computer.  The check revealed that she was on active supervision probation with a search waiver and an outstanding arrest warrant charging Probation Violation.  The probationer was arrested.

During the search of her person, officers located a plastic baggie balled up in her hand that contained .4 gram meth.

Probationer Evans was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  She is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance with bond set at $2,500 and a $10,000 bond for the probation violation.
