Alleged: Wanted Person Crashes On Thornton Ferry Road; Arrest – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Corporal Morgan supervised the investigation of a single vehicle crash on Thornton Ferry Road Saturday Night.

Evidence at the scene suggested that the Westbound Mercury sedan crossed the centerline, exited the left side of the pavement sideways, slammed into some landscaping bushes, crossed Newman Place, slammed into another set of landscaping bushes and came to final rest in the bushes.

The driver, Joshua Lee Ellis, 32, of Longhorn Loop in Garland County, was arrested at the scene on an outstanding arrest warrant charging Nonsupport $21,072.52.

Piney Fire & Rescue arrived quickly.  They took charge of traffic control and otherwise assisted as needed.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
