Alleged: Stolen Check..Forgery To The Tune Of $4,100; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Tart reports that he was dispatched to a bank on Airport Road August 19, 2021 around 1PM, for the complaint of a man attempting to cash a fraudulent check.

Off. Tart arrived and spoke with the victim who said that there was a man in the bank attempting to cash a bogus check on his business account.

Off. Tart went inside the bank and found the suspect, Thomas James Lovesee, 23, of N. Woodland Drive in North Little Rock, standing at the counter.  The bank teller handed over the check; it was made out to Thomas J. Lovesee in the amount of $4,110.50.  The victim said that the business did not issue that check.  Mr. Lovesee was arrested.

Thomas James Lovesee, 23, of N. Woodland Drive in North Little Rock – Allegedly tried to cash a forged check in the amount of $4110.50 at a local bank.

Mr. Lovesee was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Felony Forgery with bond set at $3,500.
