All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Detective De Foor reports that officers with his department took a breaking or entering report July 25, 2021, where one of the items stolen from an Infinity G37 car was a blank check.
Soon after that day, the victim was notified that her stolen check had been cashed. The check was made out to Hannah Baker for the amount of $900. The victim alerted police.
Det. De Foor investigated and was able to make a case against the suspect, Hannah Grace Baker, 26, of Whittington Avenue in Hot Springs. He obtained arrest warrants for Ms. Baker and entered them into the police computer.
On August 17, Det. De Foor became aware that Ms. Baker was in custody at the Garland County Detention Center for charges relating to stealing a car CLICK HERE FOR THAT STORY. Det. DeFoor proceeded to the GCDC and served Ms. Baker with her new charges. Ms. Baker is charged with Felony Forgery and Theft By Receiving with bond set at $4,500.
