Alleged: Shoplifting Complaint Brings Meth Bust; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Moore reports that he was dispatched to the Dollar General Store on Albert Pike Road September 12, 2021, around 5PM, for the call of a welfare check.

Off. Moore arrived and made contact with the suspect, Kayla Michelle Hoke, 34, of Bess Street in Hot Springs.  While speaking with Ms. Hoke, the store manager advised that Ms. Hoke had shoplifted items and placed them in her purse.  Ms. Hoke was detained and the purse was searched.  Off. Moore retrieved the stolen items.  Also pulled out of the purse were a meth pipe with residue and approximately 9 grams (including container) of meth.

Kayla Michelle Hoke, 34, of Bess Street in Hot Springs – Allegedly shoplifting at the dollar store with meth in her purse.

Ms. Hoke was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

She is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with bond set at $6,000.
