Alleged: Meth Pipe Found During Disturbance Call At Motel; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Stockwell reports that officers with his department responded to the Red Carpet Inn on East Grand March 6, 2021, around 6PM, for the call of a disturbance in a motel room.

During the course of the investigation, officers made contact with Dino Weatherford, 52, of East Grand Avenue in Hot Springs.  They conducted a pat down search of him for weapons.  The officer conducting the pat down felt a suspicious item in one of the pockets he was checking.  He asked Mr. Weatherford what the item was.  Mr. Weatherford replied that it was a meth pipe.  The officer pulled the item out of the pocket.  It was a glass smoking pipe with residue.

Dino Weatherford, 52, of East Grand Avenue in Hot Springs – Allegedly caught up in some stuff at the motel.

Mr. Weatherford was arrested and transported to the Garland County Sheriff’s Department for processing.  He is charged with Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with bond set at $2,500.
