Alleged: Hillbilly Heroin In The Suitcase; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer First Class McLean reports that he was dispatched to the county line to meet with Arkadelphia Police in reference to a prisoner transfer.

APD arrested Denise Cagle, 49, Caney Creek Road in Conway, on a failure to appear warrant out of Hot Springs PD and brought her to OFC McLean.  OFC McLean made the swap and transported Ms. Cagle to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Denise Cagle, 49, Caney Creek Road in Conway – allegedly toting around an Oxycodone pill without a prescription.

At the jail, deputies found an Oxycodone pill in her suitcase.

Ms. Cagle is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and two Failure To Appear warrants were served with a no bond hold placed.
