Alleged: DWI Crash..Vehicle Vs Guardrail On Overpass; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Sergeant Lenox supervised the investigation of a DWI crash that took place on East Grand Avenue on the Gorge Road Overpass last weekend.

Evidence that I had access to at the scene suggested that the Eastbound white Dodge Ram truck struck the right side guard rail on an overpass, tore out concrete supports and unseated the guardrail. Then, came to a stop approximately 60 feet East of separating from the guardrail.

No injury was reported that I am aware of

The driver, Gene Hunter, 62, of Cliff Court in Alexander, was detained at the scene for suspicion of DWI.  He was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.

Mr Hunter is charged with DWI and Refusal To Submit To Chemical Test with bond set at $1,000.
