Why Patreon?
Facebook quickly became a huge, debilitating anchor around my neck. My haters (95% criminals, dopers and others that didn't pay attention in school) throw turds at anything shiny. Especially, if it has to do with a pro-police ex cop running a crime news page. Managing the hateful, and sometimes criminal in nature, comments became way too time consuming. Plus, 'Freakbook' is a terrorist organization in its own right. Faceless rulers with complete bullshit "community standards" edicts...hey, anytime you can't email a person at a company, like as with Facebook....that's just some shady shortbread that you should steer clear of. And, Patreon manages all aspects of membership and payment; freeing up about 60% of my time.
