On December 3 around 11:15pm, Officer Chapin of the Hot Springs Police Department responded to the motel, El Rancho, at 1611 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, after a call about a trespasser. The alleged trespasser had a dagger and methamphetamine on his person.

Kevin Longinotti, 50, of Central Avenue in Hot Springs, was inside of room 115 of the motel and wasn’t supposed to be there. Longinotti kept making motions towards his pocket while speaking with officers. A knife was found in his right shirt sleeve and he was detained for safety precautions.

Longinotti had an active warrant for failure to appear through the Hot Springs Police Department. Officers arrested him and found a small bag containing 1.5 grams of meth in his left front pocket.

Longinotti is charged with possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear. He entered a plea of not guilty on December 4 and was bonded at $2,500.
