Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Bowerman found a grey sedan being operated with an alleged expired license plate Wednesday Night in the area of Spring Street and Grand Avenue. The license plate was allegedly showing an expiration date of 2012. When the blue lights came on, the car allegedly took off.
The pursuit lasted several minutes and pretty much stayed in the area between Grand Avenue, Malvern Avenue, Spring Street and Ridgeway Boulevard.
The driver just stopped all of the sudden on Ridgeway Boulevard at the railroad tracks. The driver, Michael Brown, 27 of parts unknown, was arrested and later determined to be wanted outside of Garland County. 2 passengers in the vehicle were handcuffed and detained during the on scene investigation. They were both released and departed the area on foot.
The car was towed from the scene and Mr. Brown was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Mr. Brown is charged with Fleeing on a $2,500 bond and is being held for the out of county arrest warrant(s).
