All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies Morgan and Stacks were dispatched to a residence on Laredo Loop in reference to a person refusing to leave.
They arrived and met with the complainant who allegedly stated that the suspect’s name was Shannon Hodge and he is not supposed to be there. The suspect was located in a bedroom. Deputies made contact with the suspect and he allegedly provided a name/DOB that did not come back to anyone.
GCSO Corporal Green arrived and knew that the suspect was Shannon Dean Hodge, 29, of Trace Court in Hot Springs. He was asked again what his name was and allegedly gave the correct answer. The correct name was run through the computer and it came back as a wanted person.
The deputies went to handcuff Mr. Hodge and he allegedly pulled away and fought the process. The deputies showed him what they learned at the academy and then, he was handcuffed. He was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Mr. Hodge is charged with Refusal To Submit To Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Operations and Failure To Comply with a bond amount totaling $4,500.
