Wanted Habitual Offender On Parole Allegedly Flees From Police In Stolen Vehicle – Felony Arrest

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police became aware that a freshly stolen vehicle was in the area of Lakeside School on Malvern Avenue last week and.  Officers headed that way to try and locate.

The vehicle was spotted by police pulling out of the Big Red Convenience Store at that location.  The truck allegedly turned onto Lakeside Road and fled from officers in a reckless manner.

Susan Sangster, 36, of Randy Court in Hot Springs – charged with Fleeing after allegedly riding in a stolen vehicle during a police chase.

The vehicle was found abandoned on St. Charles Circle.  Witnesses at the scene described the occupants of the vehicle.  Susan Stickley, 36, of Randy Court in Hot Springs, was allegedly found walking approximately 1 block from where the vehicle had been abandoned.  Habitual Offender Parolee Joshua Landon Stickley, 35, of Randy Court in Hot Springs, was allegedly found around the corner on Carla Circle.  Officers identified the 2 as being the occupants of the stolen truck as it fled from them.

Officers allegedly found the keys to the truck in Parolee Stickley’s pocket when they searched him.  Parolee Stickley allegedly admitted to being in the truck.

Parolee Stickley was also served with a Failure To Appear Arrest Warrant.

The value of the stolen truck is approximately $7969.

Parolee Stickley is charged with Felony Theft By Receiving over $5,000, Felony Fleeing and Failure To Appear with a bond amount totaling $6,500 and a Parole Hold is in place.
