Wanted For Violating protection Order..Violates It Again And Flees Police, Allegedly – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Officer Chapin was dispatched around 2:45pm on 4/26/19 to an harassment call on Tom Ellsworth Drive.  The caller stated that she has an order of protection against her ex-husband, Randy Hans Zwetz, 37, of Malaga Circle in Hot Springs Village, and that he had approached her and began talking to her today during a job interview at a restaurant on Central Avenue.

Randy Hans Zwetz, 37, of Malaga Circle in Hot Springs Village – violated a protection order and fled from cops, allegedly.

The report states that the victim said she asked Mr. Zwetz several times to “leave her alone and leave.”  Mr. Zwetz allegedly followed the victim for about 6 miles after she left her job interview to pick up her children.  The victim contacted HSPD when Mr. Zwetz continued to follow her from the school.

Officers located the victim in traffic with Mr. Zwetz allegedly still following the victim.  They attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle he was driving.  The police report states that he pulled into a parking lot, did not stop, and continued to drive over a mile, passing stopped vehicles on the right, with multiple HSPD officers pursuing him.  Mr. Zwetz allegedly pulled over, finally, at his attorney’s office on Ouachita Avenue.  He allegedly told officers that he became scared and drove to his attorney’s office.

Officers confirmed that the order of protection against him was valid.  Mr. Zwetz was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Violation Of Protection Order and Fleeing In A Vehicleand was being held in jail with zero bond.
