Arkansas State Police Corporal Cook investigated a single vehicle rollover injury crash on Marion Anderson Road yesterday morning.

Witnesses at the scene stated that the Sanitation Truck was westbound when it entered the big curve at Morphew Road, cossed the center line, exited the left side of the pavement, rolled onto it’s driver’s side, struck a tree and came to final rest on the grassy roadside.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly.  They assisted with patient care, took charge of traffic control and assisted with the spillage of “fresh” garbage from the truck.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  The injured driver was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 2 hours including a period where the entire road was closed.
