Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Parker observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed on Highway 7 South last night.
The vehicle not only allegedly refused to stop for the sheriff’s lights and siren, but allegedly sped up. The suspect vehicle turned onto Catalina Circle, drove along that road for a few seconds, came to a stop in front of a dumpster where the driver allegedly jumped out and ran.
Dep. Parker stayed with the suspect vehicle which contained a female passenger. GCSO Deputy Delahunt quickly arrived and provided back up at the scene. The female passenger allegedly became very disorderly and was allegedly swinging and kicking at deputies. She was promptly arrested and placed into the back of a sheriff’s car where she allegedly kicked and screamed until that car departed the scene en route to the jail.
The white male driver was last seen wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and running on foot in the area of Catalina Circle.
