All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

CORRECTION – See Pic “Nissan..Dodge Avenger”

CORRECTION In this story, I identified the suspect vehicle as a black Dodge Avenger. The vehicle is labeled as a black Nissan in the arrest report. Sorry for any confusion ~

A Hot Springs Police Officer was in the area of Crescent Street when she attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Dodge Avenger.  Rather than pull over for the blue lights, the Avenger took off and fled from the officer.

Buy here pay here is the system we use here at Lloyd’s Auto Sales. To put it simply, it allows us to completely eliminate the middleman when it comes time to get you financed for the vehicle you want. No banks, no credit unions, just us. When other dealerships say NO, we say YES. We work for you, not the banks, and we want to get you into a car regardless of your credit situation. We build our loans to fit right into your budget. Lloyd’s Auto Sales wants to help you rebuild your credit. Let us get you financed right here in Hot Springs, where we serve all of Arkansas.

After a short pursuit that involved a few turns and different streets, the officer reported that the Avenger had crashed and that 2 people ran from the car on foot into the woods.  Several HSPD back-up officers arrived quickly.  They were able to surround the area, locate and arrest the 2 suspects.

No injury was reported to the best of my knowledge.
