Trusted Handyman Allegedly Steals Cash, Rings & Rx Drugs; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police took a report from a resident in the Village South Subdivision off of Lakeshore Drive in May regarding the theft of money, 2 gold men’s rings and prescription medication (Clozapine); all valued at $1,418.

Devin Moore, 28 of Lancaster Road in Hot Springs – allegedly stole from a victim that gave him a job.

The victim said that Devin Moore, 28 of Lancaster Road in Hot Springs, was allegedly remodeling a bathroom inside the home at the time the items went missing.

The next day, HSPD Detective Jessup began investigating and found that Devin Moore sold 2 men’s rings to a local pawn shop for $250.  Get. Jessup went and photographed the rings, showed the pics to the victim and was able to confirm that these were the rings that were stolen.

An arrest warrant was obtained and filed.  HSPD Corporal Coutch found Mr. Moore on 11/13/2018 around 5PM in the 3500 Block of Albert Pike Road and arrested him on the warrant.

Mr. Moore is charged with Felony Theft By Receiving with a bond of $2,500.
