Evidence at the scene showed that a pick up truck and a passenger car were damaged at this intersection.  The truck went on to crash head-on into a utility pole.  The truck came to final rest against the pole and the car came to final rest in a parking lot across Central Avenue.

It was raining at the time of the crash.  This intersection is controlled by a traffic light.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops were quick to respond and they assisted as needed which included automotive fluid clean-up duties.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene, but did not transport anyone to the hospital as far as I know.

Traffic flow was interrupted for at least 45 minutes.
