Hot Springs Police Officer West investigated a traffic crash on Central near Waffle House South last weekend.

Evidence at the scene suggested that the grey Chevrolet Silverado and the Jeep SUV made contact while in traffic.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly and assisted as necessary.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  Medics met with at least 1 occupant involved in the crash.  It is unknown to me whether anyone was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for at least 40 minutes and southbound traffic was backed up to at least the Higdon Ferry Intersection for the duration of the evolution.
