Evidence at the scene showed that the silver Pontiac G6 was crossing Airport Road, through the traffic light controlled intersection from West St. Louis Street when it collided with the gold Ford Focus that was traveling east on Airport Road.

Both vehicles came to final rest blocking the inside eastbound lane of Airport Road.

Hot Springs Fire and Rescue Troops responded quickly and assisted with patient care and cleanup duties.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene. It is unclear if anyone was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 30 minutes.
