Hot Springs Police were contacted by Walmart Loss Prevention Employees in February 2019 in reference to a known female observed on video footage allegedly enter the store with an unknown female and proceed to an aisle containing tote bags.
The females selected a tote and proceeded down several aisles, allegedly selected and concealed $133.35 worth of merchandise in the tote and went to the self checkout to purchase the tote. However, they allegedly did not pay for any of the items concealed in the tote.
Both females then departed the store property in an unknown vehicle.
The known female is allegedly Amber Dawn Davis, 39, of Thornton Ferry Road in Garland County. An arrest warrant was sworn out for Theft Of Property and entered into the police computer.
HSPD Officer McLean ran into Ms. Davis on May 17, 2019 at Walmart on Albert Pike Road and arrested her on several outstanding warrants including this one.
She was transported to the Garland County Detention Center and charged with Theft Of Property with a bond of $1,000. As well as processed for the other warrants served the same day.
