Evidence at the scene showed that the westbound van collided with the side of the white Dodge Charger.   Both vehicles came to final rest in the highway blocking lanes.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol arrived quickly and assisted as necessary.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops rushed in and took charge of traffic control.  They also assisted with patient assessment of the approximately 8 people involved in the crash.

LifeNet dispatched at least 1 Ambulance Crew to the scene.  It is unknown to me whether anyone was transported from the scene by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for at least 40 minutes.
