Evidence at the scene showed that the SUV was traveling east when it crossed the center line, both westbound lanes, hopped the left hand curb, struck 2 portable buildings, a parked pick-up truck, re-entered the highway and came to final rest in the turn lane facing east.

70 West Fire Chief Carlisle and her Fire Troops arrived very quickly.  They assisted with patient care and otherwise as needed.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  The driver was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Holcomb’s Transport & Recovery took charge of the vehicle and removed it from the scene.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
