Piney Fire Troops arrived very quickly with trucks and manpower.  The flames were knocked down and the fire was brought under control quickly.

Piney Fire Chief Scott Miser was able to determine early on that his troops were dealing with a suspicious fire.

PFD Chief Scott Miser caught a break in the action long enough to give me some details at the scene.  He said that the fire appeared to be suspicious in nature and that it began outside a shop window in the area of a vehicle that was parked there.  He said that 3 vehicles parked together outside the shop burned and that the fire advanced into the building.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew for standby duty.  No injuries were reported.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol assisted as needed at the scene and are looking into the cause of the fire.
