Hot Springs Police Officer Cody Rollins reports the following:
On 08/05/2019 at approximately 1128 hours, officers responded to the 100 block of Sunrise Street in reference to criminal mischief.
Upon arrival, the suspect was on scene causing a disturbance. The suspect, identified as Brandon Klorik, was being aggressive to the residents.
When questioned about the incident, Klorik admitted to officers he threw rocks at his uncle’s vehicle.
Officers made contact with Klorik’s uncle who stated Klorik had come to his residence sometime during the night and broke the windows of his silver 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Klorik was detained.
Officers observed the front, passenger side, window was broken out and the front windshield was broken in the middle, but still intact. The victim stated he wanted to pursue charges against Klorik for the damage done to his vehicle. Klorik was taken into custody and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for Criminal Mischief in the first degree with a bond amount totaling $1,000.
At this time, the estimated amount of damage done to the vehicle is valued at $900.00.
