Stolen Check Deposited; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Detective Scott assumed a Felony Forgery case where a stolen check was deposited at a local bank.

The victim had reported to HSPD that a check had been stolen from an unknown location and unknown time.  It was later determined that the stolen check had been made out and allegedly deposited by Maggie Lou Everett.

The bank was able to provide video recordings of a female depositing the check.  Det. Scott reviewed the footage and was allegedly able to identify Maggie Lou Everett, 26, of Norman, from her driver’s license picture.

Maggie Lou Everett, 26, of Norman – charged with Felony Forgery in relation to a stolen check

Ms. Everett was arrested and charged with Felony Forgery 2nd Degree with a bond amount of $3,500.
