Sherwood Fire is committed to make our citizens and our children as safe as possible.

Today [July 24th] crews are out at Amy Sanders Library teaching children about fire safety and showing them the different types of equipment we carry.

In 2016 Sherwood moved from a Fire Prevention Program to a Community Risk Reduction Program. By doing this we purchased our inflatable fire house and started multiple programs which include CPR, Fire Extinguishers for residential and Commercial properties and smoke detectors. We are currently working on certifying firefighters to be Child Safety Seat installers.

SFD crews were out today [July 25th] in continuation from yesterday at the Amy Sanders Library. A little secret that most people don’t know but this is the BEST part of being a firefighter. We love the chance to play in the water with the kids.
