The IRS just announced the first day of Tax Season 2020. Details here
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Garland County Patrol Deputy McConnell had a vehicle run from him in the area of Dodge’s Chicken & Gas Store on East Grand Sunday Morning.
The vehicle pursuit was very short lived and the ensuing foot chase was even shorter. The driver ultimately pulled into his own driveway on Daisy Street, allegedly jumped out and belly crawled into a crawlspace under the house.
Deputies swarmed the house VERY quickly and approximately 100 Hot Springs Police Officers were already en route (and very close by) to the HSPD HQ to be sworn in just like they do every January 1st following a General Election. Several of those HSPD Officers assisted including a K-9 Unit.
The suspect, Michael Dewayne Miller, 46 of Hot Springs, was captured and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for DWI Processing. Mr. Miller was charged with DWI and Fleeing.
