All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Hampton informed GCSO Dispatchers that he was in pursuit of a black Dodge Charger, Northbound On Central Avenue from an area South of the Bypass last night around midnight.
Speeds reached during the chase were allegedly in excess of 80 Mph down Central Avenue. The chase went to Trivista Street, back down Central Avenue and finally Bell Street where the suspect vehicle ran a T-intersection stop sign and collided with a tree.
At least 1 person allegedly fled from the vehicle on foot, behind the houses.
Hot Springs Police assisted with the pursuit and the ensuing manhunt. It is unknown to me whether the suspect was captured or even identified.
