All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Crow conducted a traffic stop on a silver Ford truck this week on Bayou Point Road at Albert Pike Road. The reason for the stop is not known to me.
Dep. Crow quickly determined, through GCSO 911 Dispatch, that an occupant of the vehicle was wanted out of Saline County and Garland County. Rachel Robyn Kimbrough, 27, of Bryant, was arrested on the outstanding warrants.
Austin Lane Hamilton, 23, of Highway 67 in Hope, was also found to be wanted out of Saline County. He was also arrested.
As Dep. Crow was making his way through the traffic stop, GCSO K-9 Sergeant Kellar and Aton arrived to assist. Sgt. Kellar got Aton out for a quick sniff of the situation. K-9 Aton went halfway around the vehicle before he told Sgt. Kellar that dope was inside the vehicle. Sgt. Kellar believed Aton and at that point, deputies began to search the vehicle. They allegedly found dope inside the vehicle.
Ms. Kimbrough is charged with Felony Possession Of Heroin, Felony Possession Of Meth, Possession Of Xanax, Possession Of Marijuana, Furnishing Prohibited Articles, Obstructing Governmental Operations and Failure To Appear with a bond amount totaling $7,500 and a hold placed on her for Saline County.
Mr. Hamilton is charged with Obstructing Governmental Operations with a bond amount of $500 and a hold placed on him for Saline County.
