On Wednesday, Hot Springs Police arrested Tyler McKeller for alleged Second Degree Sexual Assault.
On May 2nd, 2017 Hot Springs Police Investigator May received a report that a 5 year old female had been allegedly assaulted by Tyler McKeller.
During the investigation, Det. May was told that the suspect had allegedly touched the female inappropriately on her genitalia while he was watching her in her home.
The mother of the victim stated she left the victim and other children with the suspect babysitting for a short time.
The victim was later interviewed by Brandi Cannon at the Cooper Anthony Mercy Child Advocate Center. During the interview, the victim was shown a doll. The victim pointed to the crotch area of the doll as she explained where the suspect had touched her.
The victim was wearing pants at the time the alleged assault occurred.
Detective May then issued a warrant for the suspect.
