Hot Springs Police Officer Plyler investigated a serious vehicle vs. utility pole crash that took place on Albert Pike At Hall Printers Tuesday.
Evidence at the scene suggested that the front end of the AT& T work truck slammed head-on into the utility pole. Airbags in the truck deployed. It is not known by me why they truck crashed. It is entirely possible that another vehicle was involved in the crash. If so, I did not see that vehicle. The impact of the crash split the pole in 2 pieces approximately 4 feet off the ground. It took Entergy Repair Troops a few hours to fix the pole.
Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly and assisted as necessary.
If LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to this scene, they were there and gone before I arrived. It is unknown to me whether anyone was injured in connection to this event.
Traffic flow was interrupted for at least 3 hours.
