School Deputy Sheriff Locates Gun On Campus; Arrest – JESSIEVILLE

On Monday 08/15/2016 the Garland County Sheriff’s Office Jessieville School Resource Officer, Brandon Tollett, received information of two students who had come to school with a gun. Deputy Tollett made the school administration aware of the situation.


Wilton Hobbs – arrested for possessing a gun on school grounds

Deputy Tollett located a 9mm handgun in the center console of a gold extended cab Chevrolet Z71 that was parked in the student parking lot on school grounds. A check of the firearm serial number showed it to be a stolen weapon. Eighteen year old Wilton Hobbs and a white male juvenile were arrested for 5-73-119 Handgun Possession on School Property, a Class D Felony; and 5-36-103 Theft by Receiving, a Class D Felony.
