Evidence at the scene showed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling south when it exited the right side of the pavement after exiting a curve.  The vehicle immediately fell off and embankment, overturned and came to final rest approximately 20 ft. down in a flowing, shallow creek.

Piney Fire Troops, lead by Fire Boss Miser, were quick to arrive.  They took charge of traffic control, patient care and automotive fluid clean up duties.  Miser was bitten on the arm by a pet dog that was in the vehicle when the Heroes began performing medical moves on the injured driver.  It was a minor bite, he had sleeves on, so it didn’t really break the skin.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  1 person was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Holcomb’s Transport & Recovery took charge of the wrecked vehicle and removed it from the scene.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 1 hour.
