Hot Springs Police investigated a rollover injury crash on Central Avenue in front of the Ohio Club Tuesday Night.
Evidence at the scene suggested that the black vehicle was southbound when it struck a legally parked car at the curbside. The force of the impact moved the parked car forward approximately 5 feet and the black car overturned and came to final rest on it’s roof blocking southbound lanes.
Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops arrived very quickly. They assisted with patient care and handled automotive fluid clean-up duties.
National Park Rangers arrived quickly as well and assisted as needed.
LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene. The driver of the black car was injured and transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The Ohio Club has music every night of the week. The musicians had just loaded their gear into the car and stepped back into the club when the crash happened.
Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
