Evidence at the scene showed that the southbound Chevrolet Tahoe suddenly crossed the center lane , exited the left side of the pavement, struck a telephone junction box, crossed Guy Hawthorn Street, struck an embankment, crashed through a fence, struck the utility pole, rolled over and came to final rest on it’s roof in a field.

A witness at the scene told me that the Tahoe attempted to overtake another vehicle in the no passing zone when the crash occurred.

Power lines were knocked down as a result of this crash and Entergy Troops responded to assist.

Morning Star Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly and assisted as needed.

No injury was reported.
