Evidence at the scene suggested that the white SUV rear-ended the black truck.  The SUV became disabled after impact and came to final rest in the highway.  The black truck continued West through the traffic light and came to a stop in a parking lot.

Morning Star Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly.  They blocked traffic, assisted with medical care, assisted with clean-up duties and otherwise assisted as needed.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance crew and the EMS Supervisor too the scene.  At least 1 injured person was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
